3d animation for Indiegogo and Kickstarter Campaigns
Worked with some great guys in Texas from Here in Boston by 3d modeling the concept and animating the initial concept.
The project started with a series of drawings, then we took the concepts and I built a couple versions. This was the final. If you can see in the pictures. There is a shipping container that is refrigerated, and by using aquaponics fish and plants can achieve a symbiotic relationship. This creates much less waste, and a lot more effective farming of plants and fish for the size of the greenhouse. I have provided a link to all of the engineers, designers, and videographers I got to work with on this project below.
An insulated shipping container houses massive fish tanks filled with organic tilapia year-round. From this container, nutrient-rich water from the fish disperses out to a large greenhouse where state-of-the-art vertical growing techniques optimize production in a compact space.

**Self-regulation: when something is out of balance in the system, smart devices correct the imbalance automatically. Additionally, fish feeders release food on a schedule that increases serving size as the fish grow!
BUT before we can build this incredible facility, we needed to start somewhere…smaller. We needed a system as proof of concept and for valuable insight to guide our construction of the micro-farm.
We started by retrofitting large water tanks into containers for fish and plants. After assembling a wooden support structure, installing powerful LED lights and incorporating various plumbing/electrical components, our prototype system was ready to accommodate over 200 pounds of organic Tilapia and over 30 species of organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
